A 19-year-old Osawatomie man was killed early Saturday morning in a one-vehicle accident south of Paola.

Matthew L. Noblet was driving a 2008 Toyota Scion east on 327th Street west of Hospital Drive at 4:55 a.m. Saturday when he lost control of the vehicle, which swerved off the right side of the road into a field and overturned several times, according to a Miami County Sheriff’s Office news release.

Noblet was thrown from the vehicle and killed. Investigation revealed he was not wearing a seat belt.

It was the first fatal accident on Miami County roads in 2009.

He was the greatest wrestler I have ever seen in person and that he had a kind soul and never even once did I question his character in any since. I am going to miss him like he was my brother
