Osawatomie boys' basketball coach Darren Soucie knows he has several players who have the ability to change a game. One of them is Seth Jones.

Jones came up big in Saturday's seventh-place game in the Spring Hill Invitational, at times when Metro Academy rallied from a double-digit deficit to either tie the game or get within single digits.

When Metro Academy tied the game at 21 iin the second quarter, Jones buried two 3-pointers to help Osawatomie regain a 10-point lead. The second time, Metro Academy got to within nine points after falling behind by 21 points after three quarters. But there was Jones again, burying a 3-pointer. And Metro Academy would not get close the rest of the way, as Osawatomie pulled away to defeat the Mavericks 63-46.

Jones scored 18 of his 26 points in the first half. He and Brendan Soucie proved to be a two-headed monster for the Trojans (5-6). Soucie nearly recorded a double-double, finishing with 20 points and nine rebounds.
