Ollie Mae Nickell, 90, Parker, died July 28, 2010, at Richmond Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. A visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Eddy-Birchard Funeral Home, 203 Main St., Osawatomie, KS 66064, (913) 755-2114. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Goodrich Cemetery. Memorials are to the Miami County Cancer Foundation or the American Heart Association.

Steve Sledd, 60, Osawatomie, died July 27, 2010, at Miami County Medical Center. Local survivors include his wife Linda of the home; daughters Lisa Scherman and Sarah Sledd, both of Gardner; and sons Kenny Olson of Paola and Brian Olson of Louisburg. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 305 N. Pearl St., Paola, KS 66071, (913) 294-2372. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home followed by burial in Osawatomie Cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stout of Lane, members of St. Philip Neri Parish, Osawatomie, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on July 30. altalt

Robert Stout and Jane Burrows were married at Christ The King Church, Wichita, where they lived during their first few years of marriage. They have also made their home in Chanute; Lane; Granbury, Texas; Cleveland, Tenn.; Osawatomie; and back to Lane, where they currently live.

Their children and their spouses are: Shane and Debby Stout of Lane; Bruce and Toni Stout of Olathe; and David and Elizabeth Rhine of Lane. They also have six grandchildren and one great-grandson.

A family celebration is planned.

Kenton Lee Ratzlaff, 51, Fairview, Okla., brother of Jay Ratzlaff of Paola, died July 22, 2010, in Pine Bluff, Ark. Services were July 25 followed by burial in the Saron Mennonite Cemetery in Orienta, Okla.
